To commission a portrait contact me by email at beckyspetportraits@yahoo.com
Decide the size and the medium you want the portrait to be ( colored pencil, graphite, watercolor ect) Refer to Which Medium to Choose?
Send several good quality pictures by either email or postal mail. Email is prefered as I can blow pictures up ect. I will return pictures with completed portrait. Please send copies if using postal mail. Refer to Photo Tips for kinds of pictures that work well.
Please allow 2-3 weeks for completion of portrait. I will send updates through email to show you progress.
A 50% deposit is required to start a commission. The other 50% is due before portrait is mailed out.
Portraits are mailed out on a stiff cardboard backing with a neutral colored mat.

Photo Tips

Take clear photos in natural light.
Take photos at eye level
Avoid flash.
Get as much detail as possible.
Remember the portrait is only as good as the photo, I can’t draw what I can’t see.
Send several photos, some of which have closeups of face.
I may be able to schedule a photo shoot and take the pictures if you are within reasonable driving distance.
